Learn to fly


We fly our motorglider regularly and are able to teach people, enabling you to gain your pilot's license. The cost of training is about half that of most other flying schools. This means your money will go a lot further enabling you to do more.

We teach the following courses:

  • Light Aircraft Pilot's License (LAPL)
  • SPL adding TMG
  • TMG ratings for those who already hold a part-FCL license
  • SPL conversion LAPL(A)
  • Night Rating
  • Aerobatic Rating
  • Tailwheel endorsement
  • CAA theory exams


  • BGA Cross country endorsement
  • Field landing training & test
  • BGA Navigational training and test
  • BGA Bronze C theory exams

Motor gliding offers a very affordable way of gaining your pilot's wings.

As well as the practical flight training, we also have the facilities for you to sit your pilot's written exams. 

We can train you from your first flight, until your final flying test, when you will become a fully licensed pilot.

We believe we offer the most cost effective and fun way of learning to fly in the Swindon and West Oxfordshire areas.
