Through its Child Protection policy and procedures, The VoWHGC encourages all participants in gliding to assist with safeguarding the welfare of all junior participants including, protecting them from physical, sexual and emotional harm.
Detailed policies are in place relating to the supervision, safeguarding and development of our junior members. This includes a comprehensive child protection policy, allowing the next generation of glider pilots to thrive in a safe and welcoming environment.
If you suspect abuse, a young person confides in you, or a complaint is made about any adult or about you – it’s your duty to report the concern to Chris.
