Some visitors from Spain, Zorro Zuo and Selina Sheng, were staying in a local AirBnB that happened to be run by one of our club members. Over a shared dinner, he invited them to visit the airfield the next day to see how the gliding club operates, and they ended up finishing their trip to the UK with introductory flights in one of the club two-seat training gliders, before they raced of to catch a flight from Bristol Airport.

We can’t always accommodate walk-ins for introductory flights – much better to book ahead using the options on the club website if you can. But we were pleased to be able to fly with Zorro and Selina, and hopefully give them a great memory of their visit to the UK, and of the fun and excitement of gliding.
