As part of our “40 Years at Sandhill Farm” celebrations, we’re offering introductory glider and motor glider flights on the weekend of the Shrivenham Summer Fete, 23rd and 24th August 2025, and the booking page for the flights has just been opened for bookings.

To make the flights that weekend as accessible as possible, and to fly as many people as possible, we’ve priced these a bit cheaper than our standard experience flights, and will tow to 1600′ instead of our usual 2000′. That lets us offer the standard experience flights for £75 on this weekend only, which we believe is excellent value for money.

For £100, we’re also offering a choice of two flights that aren’t usually available at the club, or at most clubs – a vintage flight in an open canopy T21 training glider, and an aerobatic flight in the club’s fully aerobatic training glider. If you’ve feeling a bit more daring, and want an experience you’ll never forget, one of these might be for you!
