Weekend of Achievements at Vale of White Horse Gliding Centre

It’s been a weekend of achievements coming thick and fast at the gliding centre recently.  A typical Saturday or Sunday normally sees a mix of early pilots learning the skills to go solo with our BGA instructors, a few trial lessons flights with visitors to the club, and in good weather, a range of qualified pilots doing cross-country flights, or aerobatics, or maybe converting from one glider type to another. Congratulations to Milo MacDonald who ended his Silver Badge 50km Flight at VoWHGC

Well done to 16 year-old Milo, who flew his Silver Distance flight from Lasham Gliding Society to Vale of White Horse Gliding Centre.  And in some style, in a vintage Olly 2b.  There was a nice reciprocal element to the flight, too, as his dad did the same trip for his Silver Distance,
